We are unfortunately downgrading to bronze. Turns out we're pet sitting in Feb and am without anyone to care for that dog plus our own two....disappointed but unfortunately just can't make it work.

Don't you just pop them outside with a couple of bowls of food like you do with children  ;)

I will drive up on Friday evening at 6 ish and stay until Sunday.
Will bring my X5 so could potentially offer a lift from NTL en-route to Pokolbin on the Friday evening. Car fits 6 pax plus myself.
I will also be able to do a drop off at NTL on the Sun depending on the timing.

Us too.. we haven't booked the flights yet but will probably be driving from Newcastle airport late Friday and back Sunday..
Happy to supply a lift for 2 pax :)

We're flying inbound on Friday 19th VA 1106 BNE/NTL (dep 3.25pm, arr 5.45pm) and departing Sunday 21st on VA1109 (dep 6.20pm). Now have multiple possible options for transport and would be happy to assist the petrol costs for 2 pax.

Unfortunately not that easy with a deaf cat; she has to be kept inside, which means feeds and litter changes.

That's what I thought.

With blackcat20 now pulled out I am considering my options. I have received a very generous offer, but just need to mull it over!

Sorry...I'd forgotten all about it until I was reminded that I'm dog sitting. We also need to be saving for Japan as a priority.

Ok.. flights now booked :)

MELBOURNE/NEWCASTLE VA 1593 FRI 19FEB 1220 1350
NEWCASTLE/MELBOURNE VA 1594 SUN 21FEB 1425 1600

We hope to visit some friends in Newcastle on Friday afternoon so we should be able to give Mr and Mrs QF WP a lift to the Hunter Valley when they get in :)

We intend to drive to CP Lovedale around mid afternoon Friday. We could swing by Fassifern train station and pick up two people (or three with a squeeze) if anyone is flying into SYD and wants to come into the area by train. The trains departing Central at 15 past the hour are faster (less stops). If you are not at the CP, we can drop you off at your digs in the area.

We are returning Sunday and can drop off at Fassifern on the way back.

Accommodation for the drive from ADL to NTL booked.
We have gone from The 'ilton to the Beehive Motel, Coolac. $80 a night, no breakfast and the Exec Lounge doubles as the Public Bar.

I am regretfully, a late withdrawal.

The post-Christmas period has resulted in a low bank balance, and as such I can't afford much at the moment. I was really looking forward to coming along, but there's always the next event!
