Is there now a definite pick up point or points?

Jojen has booked the bus, but just had a thought..... as the bus will be coming from the Cessnock Depot, it MAY be possible for them to do a pickup along the main street (Vincent St) and perhaps Potters Brewery.
Main pick up is at CP (corner of Wine Country Dr & Lovedale Rd) opposite the airport if you are looking at maps.

See post 46 Sam. Pokolbin village would probably be the cheapest in the area, or try Cessnock which would then require you getting a taxi to the pick up point. Hope this helps.

Sam, if you book in Cessnock, I can pick you up on my way thru Cessnock to get to Vineyards/ CP

I'll try book something soon :) and let you know.

For those from BNE or MEL that haven't yet organised flights and accom, Virgin Holidays have just released packages including Newcastle over the dates of this event:

https://travel.virginaustralia.com/...cmpid=VAHOLS_20150918_Newcastle_FULL_fare_no1

Virgin Holidays said:
Revel in the beautiful beaches of Newcastle, take a trip to the sparkling waterways of Port Stephens or enjoy the fine wine and gourmet food of the Hunter Valley. Newcastle with return airfares, checked baggage and 2 nights twin share. Earn from 893 Velocity points.^

I note Simply Red will be playing at Bimbadgen Winery on this weekend next year. Might increase the numbers of people in the area.

Yes, that is why we picked a date so far in advance, so everyone had a chance to book accommodation before any concerts were announced.

At least at Bimbadgen the capacity is only 8,000 if it was a concert at Hope Estate, they cater to 20,000 and Tempus Two aprx 18,000

We can discuss over the weekend.

I have just returned from Armidale to ADL via the New England Highway and must say the area looks fabulous right now. Really look forward to coming back in February.
