You can always shadow us to the wineries (but may not be able to join us if we go into private facilities for the tastings). A good bunch of people on this tour.

To make room on the bus, we will tail-gate in our cars, (will also have space in cars to carry cases of wine). We can do tastings any day of the week.

We'll probably have to take up the shadow role as well. Can stay with friends in the Hunter, will have our own car but no way can I make a firm call until close to the time.

We are exactly the same

Absolutely consider coming up for the dinner prozac. You can always shadow us to the wineries (but may not be able to join us if we go into private facilities for the tastings). A good bunch of people on this tour.

Hmmm. Sounds like there is enough for an alternate tour.;)
I think I am Silver atm. With mrs prozac could be in the car. Otherwise might make it a bike tour. Any old farts in the group?

I'm one of these-

Looks like those little 35km/hr cars that drive on the bike paths in Netherlands and that they laugh at.

Assuming there is a NTL pick up, Mrs Buzzard and I are definite for this event. Around that time we will be in Armidale, Bobs Farm, Womberal so we are in the area. We have already book a hotel in NTL.

I would much prefer to be in a bus than driving myself, due to the wine tastings... but shall be driving down and back again instead of flying on this occasion so will have room for shuttling people around to other things ;)

Just need to choose appropriate accommodation now :)

Have been very quiet on this lately as we have been enjoying our OW RTW in J !!!! Arrived home just over a week ago and now time to attend to important matters.

Due to the huge response so far, today I decided to explore a larger bus and see if we can increase the numbers at the wineries.

Only one one winery was a problem with numbers and I managed to convince them to increase to 30, so good news for a few extras to come along.

Also managed to get a MUCH larger bus seating 57 at the same price so plenty of room to store purchases. Bindibuys, Drron and Sam will not have to tag along behind in their vehicles.

Will announce the details of wineries at a later date. It will be Vintage time in the Hunter, so for those that have not experienced this a great chance to see some action !!

When I first read your post jojen, I read plenty of room to store purchases and Bindibuys

There is an airport at Cessnock in the heart of the Hunter if you can afford it...they should be able to land there.

Yes. The news article headline should have been "Amphibian's scenic service to Newcastle, Sydney and the Hunter" and maybe I should have edited the link in post #66 anyway

I'll have to drop back to silver :( would like to have Mr Up along as well but as space is limited we might need to wait until the next one...
Will keep watching in case spaces free up closer to the date.

See post 89. There will now be a maximum of 30 due to the bigger bus. Hope you can make it. Do look at booking accomodation as prices in the Hunter are a lot more over the weekends.

Thanks Jojen.. I missed that post... Yes Mr Up and I are gold! We'll probably also be hiring a car and driving from the Newcastle airport on Friday and back on Sunday.. Will confirm when I book flights. CP booked :)

Where would you suggest?

Will have a look at some central Hunter locations soon hopefully and get it booked.

See post 46 Sam. Pokolbin village would probably be the cheapest in the area, or try Cessnock which would then require you getting a taxi to the pick up point. Hope this helps.
