Excellent, thoroughly entertaining evening!

You'll be disappointed to know that the only thing I left in the hotel was a Sudafed Nasal Spray!!!! (Well I say that is the only thing, I should qualify that by saying that is the only thing I'm missing so far.)

I'm back home after my short stay in Canberra. My 506th hour on an aircraft this year was a touch disappointing....unless you like Y masquerading as J on an E90....but what the hell it is not ALL about me.

Good luck with the move HVR...and I have to say I love your attitude to the impending change.

Hvr, thanks very much for the invite - I had a great evening. It was a privilege to be seated so close to the guest of honour, and terrific to meet a number of both experienced and newer AFF people. We had lots of laughs and those I had the chance to speak with at length were very generous with their time and advice. It's certainly encouraged me to be more involved (which shouldn't be hard given my woeful posting record to date!)

All the best with the move to Melbourne and I look forward to catching up with you again.
