... It will all depend on how many SCs I will need keeping in mind that I value the 50,000 QFF points at ~$500-$1,000...

What's that pricing based on? Flights or vouchers? Cause I see 50k points as an upgrade from J to F. Them and award flights are the only two things I spend the points on.

I would value 50000 points at just over $1700 as 42000 points gets me a JASA SYD-PER which would otherwise cost ~$1700.

Nufin' wrong with YUP's!
As per post #3 I re-qualified WP on the 8th day after the SC 'expiry' for my new Qantas Frequent Flyer "Year".

On arrival into MEL, I had earned 1330 SC's for the month.

 too funny

yeah nothing wrong with them

The day my work can't maintain WP I have a feeling I'll be using them as well.

The pricing is based on 140,000 QFF points required for a QF Oneworld award in economy. A Oneworld Explorer (LONE4) is ~$4,500 so less ~$1,000 required for taxes and surcharges on QF Oneworld Award leaves ~$3,500 value for 140,000 QFF points or around ~2.5 cents/QFF point.

I know a QF Oneworld award is not quite the same a Oneworld Explorer but it suits my needs quite OK as I want to visit a few places not max out an itinerary.

fair enough

720 with NZ and US in J plus domestic. Happy with that. 30 SCs to WP again with 8 months to go :)

Time for a report from the dark (is that EXP ?) side.

40625 BIS
51597 EQM
31078 EQP
104194 RDM

All in 8 days :shock::D

Now to discuss with QF what to do with the reschedule of a QF V class PER-HKG
to a CX V class (which does not credit to AA :()

Any votes on whether I will see QF original routing credit in my QF account? ;)

20SC here... very slow month and even slower coming up, December looks like 0. Luckily because of October 86.6% there to retaining Gold with 10mths to go.
