I hate Jetstar

Flying JQ has seen me accumulate over 7,000 SC in my quest for LTG (less than 700SC to go:D) access to Flounges all over the world, countless beers, cheese & crackers at the T2 QP, exit row for every flight & a very pleasant 15min drive to & from my home:D

If I drove to BNE the lounges would have been better however, the battle to get an exit row/front row would have been more intense, the drive to & from home would have been pure murder & no more SC!

Easy choice:idea:

On that basis I suspect that's more to do with the principal of the introduction of JQ keeping QF fares "high" rather than any service issues.
The problem may not be JQ at all. It does not belong with Qantas and the deception that goes with it.

Spin it off into a separate company....

Well we all have to try things! In reality it is different, but not that much different.

You just have to expect less than you would of a mainline carrier.
Yes and no.

We all have a choice and I am willing to try LCCs where it suits and the risk is not that high. There are about 7-8 flights (DMK-CNX) on Thai Air Asia that day so if something goes wrong I will more than likely get another seat later. Worse comes to worse I can get the bus and arrive late at night.

What I do not need if for delays or cancellations where the next flight is not until the next day or worse case 2-3 days later. In principal my decision not to fly JQ may be wrong but at the end of the day I have not missed out on anything and I have not inconvenienced myself. If at some stage I take on another job in a city that is only serviced by JQ then I can cross that bridge later.

Yea I hate them too, I flew them 2 weeks ago from New Zealand back to Australia, Worst Plane ever !
