I learnt a valuable lesson yesterday

I would've been pissed and like you, I would've given the stranger a continuous stink eye for the rest of the flight. Spewing.

My 2c worth in the faultfinding quest.

The miscreant in 4E should not have peered in the seat back pocked shared with 4D, should have peered in the window seat pocket instead. I assume that the miscreant was looking to stow stuff in the seat back and discovered the laptop etc.

The OP should not have used the in-cabin loo while boarding in progress, although Pineapple does it regularly and is probably uglier and worse tempered than Blackcat20.

Also the OP should not have left DRW for MEL this time of year, Pineapple has just arrived there and finds the weather quite pleasurable at the moment.

Cheers skip.

Lol,

Skip it's all good... I'm already back in DRW. It's good to have a warm and cool escape! Then in Melbourne Summer heatwaves I escape back to Darwin for the cooler weather! *jokes*

An unfortunate incident. The guy in 4E probably thought they were doing the right thing.

I don't like leaving things in the seat pocket. Especially something that is valuable.

Phone, passport in shirt pocket. Wallet in back pocket. Computer in laptop bag. If you leave your laptop bag unattended then you would think that its contents will be in tact when you return.
