I've lost count of the number of times people have recommended I go to Hell. Are we able to hold it there? :p

Longreach
Hobart
Cairns
Adelaide

I think we could re-do Melbourne or Sydney as it has been a few years, and the crowd is a bit different now.

I would avoid Perth as that is the venue for the next OzFest (sorry Perth residents).

Maybe Qantas could reinstate a few extra Qantas flights to Cairns, that have been recently lost or transferred to Jetstar.

Longreach sounds good! have been to everywhere except hobart and longreach, maybe we can do a combo?

My vote last year, for this years gathering, was HBA.

That said, LRE was raised a lot and they have a great Qantas museum out there, the Stockmans Hall of Fame takes a day to get through as well, and while the accommodation isn't quite 5 star, it's pretty decent!

As the two furthest and hardest destinations to get between in a weekend? :p

Hobart is my preference.

Would rather not go to some hick town in the middle of QLD with a QF museum its only drawcard. If, however, it was a VA museum - I could be convinced :P But alas...... civilisation would be nice.

Hobart, cairns, Melbourne or Perth would be my picks.

Saturday dinner at Stefano's?
And Sunday lunch at one of the wineries on the river! Considering they are on the NSW side, it could be a 2 state weekend... if landing at OOL doesn't already count last weekend.

Incidentally, if you use Apple Maps to look up Mildura, it is not in the Pink Lakes Conservation Reserve.

Depending on time of year I think either HBA or CNS would be splendid

JessicaTam, this is already starting to sound like a do. The lack of chain hotels may turn some people off, although HBA doesn't have a huge number of chain hotels either.

Actually OOL would have been be 3 states for those of you who went via SYD... :p
