IHG® Dining Rewards program replacing Priority Privilege from 1st July 2014

Thanks so much for that info. Sounds like a good system then if you have one large gathering anywhere with 16 friends then it has paid for itself. Maybe if you have AFF events anywhere then you need to limit each event to 16 people - just have all the different events happen to be at the same location???

The monthly specials are where the value lies, for instance the buy one get one free offers at IC Adelaide and CP Canberra that are on offer at present? Priority Privilege was better as they always seemed to forget taking the vouchers ;)

Anyone figure out yet if there is a way to book these 50% offers online using a rate plan code? or is it call in only via the phone?

Expired codes and earning IHG points.

Codes have not expired, and will be current until June 30, again I have no clue what your on about???

Dining rewards use the same codes!

Oh dear. I find this very confusing, as there are so many areas to log in. I've never seen 50% off deals with Dining Rewards, and I thought I had my head around all of this

There is a monthly specials newsletter by email

Have a look at Adelaide or Cambera. Hey I hope I've got it right

Thanks markis10. I just had a look at my account and the box wasn't ticked to get email offers.

Thanks again. How do you get PP Newsletters? NB: I've been a Platinum Ambassador since August, and greeted as Gold with recent stays in Singapore and Canberra! All my calls to the membership line are frustrating and are disconnected before I have a chance to complete my conversations. I read somewhere on another thread I think, that this fairly normal. I also had a huge problem in Canberra getting them to honour 'discount on meal and beverage', and they didn't know how to see my 2 x $ 50 vouchers without assistance. Given a lot of misinformation by check out staff.

Boy this was a huge mistake.

The list of hotels is poor and most times cannot book the discounted rate online. Call to book the discounted rate and now doing the rounds of the call centre.

Also I was under the impression I could use the dining voucher multiple times. Terms and conditions state can only be used once.

Well, if we thought that the change to IHG® Dining Rewards would end the spruiking phone calls, I can tell you that it won't. :(

I just received one, spruiking the new IHG® Dining Rewards program and urging me to join immediately (at a discount) even though I have 6 months to go on PP.

I've received two emails (with the wrong renewal date for PP) but been out of the country so not sure if they've tried calling. I doubt I'll bother unless they come up with a bloody good offer because to be honest, the whole thing impresses me about zilch (which coincidentally, matches the impression level I have with most of IHG)!
