Not much availability for the cheap rate at the GC. Just wish IHG still had cash backs on their properties.

Cheap rate being PP newsletter? If so, doesn't it only start on 1 Sept?

Anybody know what happens in my current situation? Staying at a CP now, been here for a week and checking out in a week. So, one week before the promotion starts and one week after. Does my spend / nights count for the entire stay since I checked out after Sep 1, or just the spend after start of Sep?
(I think I recall that in previous Hilton promos I would get the credit for the entire stay. Not sure about IHC).

Your stay will count as part of the promo, the only thing that won't count is the online booking, these must be done from tomorrow.

Also, any qualifying night during the promotion period, so long as your stay either starts OR ends during the promotional period is counted. This is including those over NYE.

Popping back in again to provide a bit more clarity to my recent post.


Several of you are asking questions about upcoming stays that overlap the start and end dates of the promotion. So long as your stay either starts OR ends during the promotional period, your stay will count towards the promotion. Both of the examples below will count.


Ex: Check-in August 29th & Check-out September 1st
Ex: Check-in December 30th & Check-out January 3rd


For the "Life in the City" offer, all stays have to take place in a unique city. If your particular offer requires 5 stays to fulfill the bonus points, then you must stay in 5 unique cities (the full list can be found on the website).

I have a live in the city which is Aus and Japan, I wonder if that's the same, as the terms don't mention the unique city requirement.

Mine all up is 106100 (assuming the Big Win is additional to all the others and not just the total as it almost adds up perfectly) EDIT - Yes it is, the top right of the page displays the total possible points offer.

Anyone read if stays booked prior to registration will count? I've only seen some vague reference to "must be pre-registered" so I'm assuming not (but luckily my IC SYD stay is cancellable)

Dammit, I should learn to read my T&Cs a lot more carefully.

That said, given that AP rates need 7 days in advance minimum, and the differential between AP and Flexible, I had no choice but to take the economical option. The bonus points will have to wait or waylay.

Is Bataam on the resort list? I must have missed it. Shame SIN DO is not until the new year.

Need to look at Hua Hin but that is not cheap either. Also 3 resorts in Krabi but airfare from BKK is ridiculous if you are not already staying there.

Looks like the PP specials are now loaded, can see the IC SC for $124.50 a night, similar for the HI in Melbourne mid week school holidays, while the CP SP $110 rooms are also showing.

OK, i had my 1st eligible stay on the night of the 1st in Sydney. Currently not showing up as activity on my "win big" status but it's in my IHG account. Does anyone have any activity registered for Win Big yet?

Perhaps the Big Win is calculated on US timezones. It might need some manual intervention!

Ah well picked up. I just made two booking which pretty much give me everything I need, today........and the on-line bookings show in my IHG account, but no Big Win credits for that ....yet! Thanks for the info!
