It's a real shame they don't keep track of SCs beyond 14,000 - just for the curiosity value. I told myself I'd keep track, but promptly forgot, and you can't check activity older than 12mths.

Well you can request printed statements for 2500 points, and if you’re flying that much, it’s not a huge loss. I can’t remember who, but someone else phoned and requested them and they said they’d print the entire lot, way back, so if you paid your 2500 points you could get the activity on your account since you opened it, and although it’d take a while, add it all up :p

Lots of international J and the occasional domestic J. Not as much fun as it sounds. For a 6 mth period last year, I was averaging a long haul J trip once a fortnight (except for January this year, when I had to travel to the US, Asia and South America in a 10 day period (and then took 3 weeks to recover).

I have decided that once I reach WP+ partner each year, I will switch to crediting to AA.

A question for those who may know - if I credit to AA and have AA on my boarding pass, will I still be able to use the F and Flagship lounges by producing my WP card, or will lounge dragons be guided by what's on my BP?

I lost 2,500 SC's end of last month. Based on future travel patterns i should re-qualify by Feb 2011 and may make it to PG by June 2011.

PG is no value to me - my wife has flown thrice on Qantas in the last year and two of those flights were with me.

Here is my account summary as of this morning......

Membership Status

Current Status: Platinum
Status reassessment will occur: 31 Aug 2010
Status credits earned from 01 Sep 2010: 0
Additional Status credits required by 31 Aug 2011 to retain Platinum: 1,200
Additional Status credits required by 31 Aug 2011 to receive
complimentary 'Partner Gold' membership: 2,100
Qantas segments flown: 0

You must fly a minimum four eligible flight segments on Qantas, QantasLink or Jetstar and earn the required status credits to retain/attain during your membership Year


Lifetime Recognition

You have attained lifetime Gold recognition.

It shows that I'm still Platinum with my review date of 31 Aug 2010 (yesterday!) My status credits (all 20 of 'em) have been zeroed and this shows on my activity report. And all activity is now timed for next year. So everything that should have happened at mid-night seems to have happened except that I'm still Platinum. The wife's account shows exactly the same thing - except in her case she's still (Partner) Gold.

Beats the beejeezuz outa me.

Any thoughts??

There is usually a few days lag at end of month. Give it time :rolleyes:

And damn all my 120sc got wiped! I think a complaint letter is in order to QF :)

I dont think QF liked me this year. No special offers like double SC's, no please explain letter, NOTHING! :shock:

Today I am sitting on 0 Status Credits.... Yesterday I was nearly 3000 :(

I expect to requalify for WP in November and LTG by June.

It's a lot of BIS time but NO Major SC runs... Just a busy next 12 months with travel beginning tomorrow.

OT: If someone had the chance to have staff travel on QF and most other airlines around the world, would you use this more than the commercial fares which get SC's/points/status?
