I'm in the QF Lounge thread

Hopefully the lounge isn't Done 4. ;)

So is it busy? Any decent food?
Not busy. The usual breakfast food. I took 2 pre-made sandwiches from basket and added bacon and staff asked if I wanted lunch bag for sandwiches.

So much for taboo in taking food out of lounges.

Airport not very busy at all.

In MEL (F) lounge until 5pm when QF9 departs.
I can guest 1. Although they have room for quite a few........ only 2 other guests.
If I don’t get any takers, which I am expecting I won’t, I might just wander down to the gate and find a random punter.

spa is closed already as of yesterday.

Surprised lounge is still open to be honest. Check-in folk said F lounge was staying open until whenever the planes stop next week.

"Due to government restrictions, all Qantas operated lounges across our network will be closed from this afternoon until further notice. We thank you for your understanding. "

How are they handling food and drinks and what is on offer?

Sorry if I have missed this but is Brisbane Domestic lounge open yet? I saw an article a while back stating possible July 10 re-opening......

At SYD dom and surprised at how many people are here. Only 14 flights today and fairly busy combined QF lounge for a Saturday morning. Very friendly welcome and chat at all stages. Only 1 security lane in operation.

Good to hear!

I hope they let me in before my international connection, from BNE. Considering BNE & SYD Int are still closed. 🤓

I am not in the lounge at Adelaide. Apparently they are only open some times. Check in doesn't know when. And the ale house is shut so no beers available.
