Bit too far away, I am in the MEL J lounge.Whoops sorry - Brisbane.
It seems a bit random. At the Canberra Lounge two weeks ago I wasn't allowed in with MrsK who was travelling in J. But then, someone reported they were allowed in as a guest in the Brisbane Lounge - although I'm not sure whether they were travelling or not. Certainly the Qantas Club as well as the Business Lounge are open in Brisbane now, so they have more room at least.I should ask, are they back to allowing guests who aren't travelling again?
Maybe next time I"m in Melbourne - I'll have a beer for you anyway up here in BrisVegasBit too far away, I am in the MEL J lounge.

I was also in the MEL J lounge this evening, I actually like the lounges during Covid. After 10 years of week-in week-out travel I like the fact that you can just walk into the lounge and find a seat, no overcrowding issues and not as noisy.I was in Mel J lounge this evening
Under Covid conditions nothing to boast about

When I asked, the staff at the entry said it was the Covid restrictions policy, which I checked later and found on the websiteCovid Capacity issues?.

Hmm, I guess that means I can't accompany my other half into the Adelaide J lounge next week. Was hoping I could sit with her before her flight. It seems a bit random. The Qantas website is still showing guests have to be travelling on the same flight.
