I'll be in the domestic QF lounge tomorrow morning (June 13) from around 10:00 - 11:30 @ SYD. Sadly my Business Classic upgrade for my flight to Lord Howe Island didn't clear so I'm relegated to the QF Pub. Can guest one.

In the business lounge at LAX until QF12 boards. Super impressed with it as a business lounge, showers, and food were great!

How did the food compare to the F lounge in LAX? Shame I’m flying QF18 (morning departure) before the F lounge reopens …

Im going to be at Heathrow T3 flying on QF2 this evening - anyone else on the same flight? Or have a recco for the best lounge to go for? It’s been so long since I made this journey!

Your options were QF, BA or CX lounges. Before COVID the Cathay F Lounge had a particularly good reputation.

Another vote for the CX Lounge - best food and showers. The F Lounge is a separate part, and you can set yourself up with food, drink and a good chair, and look out at the action on the tarmac.
According to Cathay's website, it's currently open from 5:30am until 5:30pm daily except Sundays, when the lounge opens at 7:30am

Hmmm with those opening times I guess the CX lounge wasn't an option for QF2 which is an evening departure. The QF lounge is a premium lounge, and from what I've read is probably a bit better than your standard business lounge, but not as good as a first lounge. That'd probably be my pick between QF and BA if you don't have First lounge access. If you have first lounge access and have time maybe visit both and see which you prefer.

I wanted to visit the QF lounge in LHR for the first time last year, but it was closed (and so was the CX lounge) so I went to the BA lounge.

Agree! CX F lounge the best at LHR. EK next. Get there early and do both. :)
To give it credit, the QF Lounge is very good too, just not as good as CX - although it can get a bit crowded in the evenings. I normally drop in there last in my Lounge Crawl, to sample the Gin Bar before toddling off towards the flight.
