I'm in the QF Lounge thread

Travelling soon SYD - YVR and LAX - MEL on paid J tickets. WP so can guest Mrs HockeyMonkey into the F lounges.

Would it be frowned up to look for a solo traveller in the lounge and politely ask them to guest an adult daughter in on my behalf? Particularly important for the LAX leg where we have a 5 hour layover.

Was much easier when they were U18 :)

I suppose you click on the photo and start a conversation to be guested.?

Not sure if this is the spot for this rant, but just in ARN Stockholm to BNE on QR. the lounge available to Gold/Plat is the Menzies Norrsken. I have not been to prison, but I would say the food would have to be better there. Menzies, known for their lacklustre attitude, runs this hole in the wall and they aim to displease. Some bread rolls and bad coffee along with some open plan ham. I think I saw the bacteria walking across the slices. And now that I have spoke my piece, I will walk out to the terminal and find a good coffee and nice omelette.

Hi Everyone, I hold Qatar Platinum (Thanks status match) I was wondering if I would be able to flash this card to access the Qantas First lounge while travelling to singapore with my QFF number on the ticket? Or would I need to change my QFF number to my Qatar number upon checking in to get access to lounge.

I presume you achieved Platinum from a *Alliance or other non One World carrier so you will need to use the Qatar number.

The QF First lounge won't mind what FF program is in the ticket/BP. As long as you can show proof of OW Emerald you will be fine.
