I'm in the QF Lounge thread

I am hoping to do the INT-DOM transfer at Sydney later this month so can contribute to two forums.

In the SIN QF F lounge until 2030 SIN time. Can guest 1

Side note : the F lounge in SIN is absolute chockers! No seats to sit

Oh no…. Wasn’t the point of the F lounge to solve the existing lounge capacity problem
I noticed the lounge agents asking some pax to go to the J lounge … I wonder if this is due to capacity issues .. also, there were seats here and there for dining , but no seats to sit and have a drink .. the staff were more than accommodative and said that I can sit in the dining tables as long as I like, even if I’m not eating and just having a drink .. I had one drink and left the dining area .. I felt uncomfortable and like I was keeping someone who might need the dining space .. I kept walking about for a few mins and voila, a spot in the single seater comfy green color couches opened up and I snatched it until I left to have dinner …

For those that are yet to sample the otherwise excellent lounge, there seems to be a disproportionate number of dining spots compared to just seated area. Probably to cater for the QF1/2 crowd passing in and out during that peak.

If you’re originating in SIN and arrive before the main inbound rush, it can be very quiet. Especially if you’re first to leave on QF72 to PER.

Edit: this discussion probably better in the SIN F lounge thread.

Perth Domestic Business Lounge (or at least I will be when it opens in 20 minutes).

Does anyone know if the QF International lounge hours have changed?

I was at the Syd F lounge the other week and asked about closing time, apparently it’s now last OW flight and no longer last QF flight?

I should be in the LAX lounge, however it has been closed all day due to issues with the boiler. It’s mid afternoon as I have a long connection and I was sent to the AA lounge in T4. I don’t see how all the passengers from the 3 x Oz flights plus BA and CX plus usual AA passengers will fit in here tonight.
