Ok so I’m in ZQN Manaia lounge today. Tiny little airport and wasn’t expecting much after a P1 colleague sent me an alarming picture of a rather loud tartan themed lounge … BUT… it’s excellent and absolutely beats QF domestic and international J lounges hands down. Better and nicer food (that actually tastes decent rather than the usual QF offering of the cheapest ingredients shambled together), great view of planes and mountains, more comfortable chairs, better wines, including a decent champagne (rather than the el cheapo bubbling acidic monstrosity QF provide their long suffering customers)…. All in all a great and relaxing experience - QF exec should visit and ponder…

Passports were required for entry to the Qatar and QF F lounge today. Must be a new Singapore requirement

Should've posted in here when in the SYD J lounge.. god it is awful, possibly the QP is better.

Filthy plates not washed right, slop food, very rundown. Enough to turn me off chasing status.

I'm surprised because I was in the SYD J lounge this afternoon from about 4-6pm and it was rather quite with things cleared away quickly. The hot dish was pork with apple sauce and rice, the same dish I've had before in the Brisbane international lounge back in December. Certainly much better than the QP which didn't have the pork dish and better than my flight down to Sydney on VA which had a pasta that hardly had any sauce as the only hot item in the Brisbane lounge.
