I was unlucky, they weren't open by 5am so a huge queue formed. I think it's best not to bother using premium entry until 5:30 as staff might still be getting coffee
First flight out was 0605 this morning and the Lounge doesn't open until 60 minutes prior to first flight. Nothing special - normally I'll clear security inside the terminal and then walk in as soon as doors open. ;)

I was on the 6:05 šŸ„±

But the website does say it should be open at 5am:
Open Monday - Friday, from 5.00am - 10.00am (BNE).

Virgin lounge at MEL currently. Not very busy but surprisingly noisy with kids and unclean tables. Can hardly see any staff around either.. when did Perth also enhance away the breakfast bacon? It used to be good....now gone! šŸ«£

The number of cleaning staff seems to vary significantly. Last Sunday night in SYD at 2100 there was a plethora of them trying to outdo each other in who could clear my table quickest! Seeing as though we were last flight out (VA999) I'm guessing that once we were gone it was going to be lights out pretty soon after.
As for bacon, it's not been a regular appearance in BNE, SYD or MEL in my morning jaunts over the last 12 months....more chicken sausage than anything!

No bacon or sausages again in the Sydney lounge.

Edit: None at the Melbourne lounge either

Not good news. Suspect it's all been pulled quietly. One of the workers confirms gone from Perth....replaced with poached eggs...(boring and hard).

Considering that VA have gone to the trouble of putting the QR codes in the Lounge asking for feedback, perhaps it's time for a concerted effort to provide feedback about what we'd all like to see on offer??

Daughter and I are flying to Hobart this week (ROK-BNE-HBA) so will have a bit of time at Bris Lounge on the way (and back the next week). Can anyone tell me if there is anything vegan on offer in the BNE lounge? Daughter is vegan so I thought I'd let her know before she buys something and sneaks it in. We'll be in the lounge at Brekkie time on the way down and between 4 - 6pm on the way back. Thanks in advance šŸ˜
