can someone check/ ask a lovely lounge lady today if the lounges are open anzac day (tomorrow) a friend of mine said they may not be open???

I just double-checked with MEL lounge staff on your behalf and they confirmed they open 5am tomorrow as usual. In fact, open 365 days a year.

naturally I'd asked for row three, but that wasn't available so she used her initiative and told me she "moved you to row 4 and gave you a shadow."

Is there a Virgin lounge at Brisbane International? I read somewhere that Virgin was upgrading all their Business Class facilities at BNE so there was kerbside check in. Is this correct? If so where?

In MEL and concerned about my gate check in said 12 lounge says 2.. Massive difference.. Does anyone know how to check for sure before going through security twice? Looking at you TomVexille you seem to know a lot about MEL from the QF and VA sides of the fence

The gate may have changed from checking in to getting to the lounge. I would trust whatever was most recent.

FWIW I use the 'FlightBoard' app to keep an eye on changes.

BNE Lounge for the next 45 minutes; Did I miss out how they have now de-sized The Lounge while they now renovate the rest of the floor space? (August the letter says at the Service Desk this will all be done apparently); So far looks nice

Then CNS Lounge from about 7pm tomorrow to return home... Fun times ahead - Port Douglas awaits!!
