I can't wait for when the ADL airport terminal is redeveloped as well as the VA the lounge in 18 to 24 or more months time.
Have seen the new map they have, looks great for the future, going upwards.
I thought it would never happen.
No way can it cope... as it is now.

In the MEL lounge now after rerouting ADL-MEL-PER due to ALL PER<->ADL flights being cancelled today 31/5 due to "hydraulic issues" It was supposed to be the same aircraft that shuttled back all day.

Hope you're not flying to SYD this evening, the delays are horrendous tonight..

Edit: Seems as though most flights to Sydney were cancelled tonight.. they tried to rebook us via Mackay tomorrow morning at 6:20am with a 6 hour layover... yeah no.

In the SYD lounge with a delayed flight back to PER with an hour delay due to a late arriving aircraft, I guess it isn't too bad considering the weather yesterday but it is a bit of a zoo at the moment.

Do they ever open level 4? Everytime I am here it is closed even when it is standing room only downstairs.

Not very often and even when it's busy they'll only open it when they have the staff. It's open when I use the lounge on friday afternoons at around 4pm, it's good because there's never a queue at the bar up the.

They opened it during the delays last night, albeit without food or drink.

Level 4 was open tonight in SYD! Bar and all... my first time up there in the 2 years I've had VA status, and it's not the first time I've flown at the start of a long weekend either.

And I know it's a bit late notice, but I'm at PER right now, and will be here until last departure before moving over to the international side.
