Is BA really that bad?

@OP

The general advice with BA is expect nothing & you may be surprised.

Thanks blu, I'll keep that in mind.
Already got my eye on 29A or K.
They're both still free according to expertflyer, but apparently I can only request and pay for it 14 days in advance, so the reminder is set.
This does have me slightly confused, as I have some relies coming over from the UK in September and they have already paid for their exit row seats.

Talking about BA, what are the best seats on a 321 for 2 people?

The flight is only an hour long, so not expecting much.

IMO BA was a great way to secure multiply F or J classic award seats. Now that BKK has disappeared - easy awards have gone with it:(

I've done OF, NF, CW & CE on BA and in the whole have enjoyed every flight......wasn't that long ago BA was the only OW ex-OZ airline to offer a flat J to SIN, BKK or LHR.

These days QF would get my business (excluding departures on coughpy old skybed Mk1) however, I would still happily hop on another BA flight any day of the week.

I've pre-selected 29A for my SIN-LHR flight next weekend (Y+).

In my experience in Y, BA have been fine. Who can really expect much in Y anyway?
I was on a BOS-LHR flight in Y on BA and the FAs, particularly a young male FA, was great. Every time I requested a drink, he gave me two.
:shock:
