I hardly see how a couple of cases in an Internet forum like this can be considered statistically significant.

That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, however as others have said, oz is actually privy to these processes, so I would think she would have a better understanding of things. With that being the case, why is there a need for RedRoo?

So let's call a truce - if OzBB is willing to admit that Qantas sometimes fails to "protect" groups, I am willing to agree that they try their best not to ... except if they can make a bit of money on the side. Fair enough? ...
Stuff ups do occur and while rare they appear to be when someone does something on a whim, whether it be a Qantas staff member who does not follow procedure or a customer not understanding reality.

It can be safely stated that it is Qantas policy that family members should not be split up.
