I have also had that sandwich in BNE and loved it, the guy that serves it up was insistent I try it, and he was right
It's in reality, an "Emerald" lounge, but to call it that would be depreciative....
And how come they call it a First Class Lounge in BNE (rather than a First Lounge), they don't even have any First Class seats from BNE?
Anyone know what Time bne is serving meals and how to attain them?
I'll b there tomorrow at 12 and Saturday a 8:30am in the J lounge

Actually I arrive at 5:10pm...
Lucky I checked that itinerary after all lol.
That should be in time for dinner I presume?

I'll be here at that time, look for a young g in a red shirt with Russian on the back, and a red Qantas cap on the table in front of him. Then you'll have found me.
Noticed an enhancement this morning though... I absolutely love the croissants in here, and instead I get egg Florentines. That said, they're very tasty.

Is that this evening samh004 and Longrass? I'll be dashing through BNE J Lounge this evening after 6pm, depending on time to drive from OOL. I'll keep an eye out for you samh004 in case you're still there.

I specifically picked a 7PM flight instead of 6 to experience Island Dining in MEL. Although placemats were set there were no menus. I asked a waitress who said it "starts at 6:30 or 7?" I asked her if it was 6:30 or 7 and got no response!
The in flight meal (a proper meal on a tray) was paste with pea and ham and had almost zero flavour.
