I had expected that as part of visa waiver, there would be some level of preflight transfer of passenger data to the destination's immigration dept.Suprised it isn't already.
I’m not. Knowing Japan it would have to be faxed, backed up on floppy disc, manually checked against paper database and then Morse coded the rejection back to the airline…That's always a good thing to do. Suprised it isn't already.
