In the afternoon we headed to Osaka Castle and the parklands. I questioned if they wanted to go to the Castle as it is a reconstruction but as MissM said I have never been to a Castle so I do not think she really cared.

For those that have been to Japan there is a lot to see, today we are heading up to Kyoto and Nara. In Kyoto we only planned visit Nijo Castle. Also by this stage MissM had become quite taken with vending machines and often stopped at them to see if there was different things in them.

When we got back to the hotel MissM wanted to call her grandparents and tell them about the deers. As I listened about greedy deers that just wanted food and attacked you I asked MissM were the deers you saw like this: A

or this: B

I was informed they were definitely B.

On the last day in Osaka MrsM had found another Kids activity place "Kid Plaza Museum20161012142814_IMG_6428.jpg20161012144214_IMG_6440.jpg20161012144332_IMG_6447.jpg20161012150941_IMG_6472.jpg20161012151340_IMG_6475.jpg20161012152208_IMG_6490.jpg20161012152935_IMG_6495.jpg20161012154340_IMG_6499.jpg

Views from the Pool Deck and when in japan you need to put on a cap

When using the pool at the Hilton every one wears a cap. Not sure if this is the same at other hotels.

Back to the lounge for some snacks

Very nice TR. Those caps put me off a 2nd swim at the Tokyo Park Hyatt, strange rule but when in Rome....

The next few days were the ones I was in fear of. My empty suit case that had travelled around around Japan with was about to be filled so I decided it was time for a distraction.

I would like to report that my delayed shopping tactics was a success but cannot. MrsM asked if we cannot get all the "stuff" they wanted on this trip, could we give you a list and would I get it later, I was heading back to Tokyo 4-5 weeks after this trip. I agreed and came to regret making this agreement as 5 weeks later I returned for 4 days once again with my HL and an empty checked bag. 4 days later not only was the check bag full I had to buy a second bag the largest I have owned to bring the "stuff" back and I still did not even get the full list but that is another story.

Last day in Tokyo, once again used the Limo Bus to HND. When I am here by myself I use the trains to and from airports but managing the girls luggage, they do not know how to pack lightly, the bus is easier.

At HND airport

Into the JL F lounge for a couple of hours. As a P1 we are able to gift WP to another, MrsM has mine. This to me is one of the most valuable offerings available to P1s as it enables the 3 of us to access OW F or J lounges under the OW rules she is normally considered a guest.

On the plane. MissM had been starting to ask about flying F for a couple of months, so I told a little fib, I told her we were going back to Sydney F. It was one of the non-refurbished QF747’s so there was still the old F class seating and that was all she needed to know.
20161016011241_IMG_7046.jpg20161016011337_IMG_7049.jpg
My F fib will most likely be found out in 6 months when we head to the US the long way round via DOH.

Japan is an excellent place for children, its safe and a lot to do and even if you do not speak Japanese and we don't it is still easy to get around.

The end
