Noticed another (poorly researched) article in the Age yesterday:
It's clear where public and media interest lie, in the cancellation of Bali and Honolulu, they get mentioned first. SIngapore is further down the article, it's destination of for the elite and foreigners, whereas Bali is where all the "true Aussies" (channel 9 viewers) go to.
It mentioned:
What about the delays on September 23 of 25hrs or September 24 of 12 hrs? Hmmm, not well researched at all. I guess on the weekend so don't count.
Jetstar’s ongoing cancellation headache compounds travel woes
Lingering issues with Jetstar’s long-haul fleet and capacity restrictions have disrupted the plans of Australian travellers visiting overseas destinations including Singapore, Hawaii and Bali over the school holidays.

The carrier also continues to face issues with its Melbourne to Changi service, with all of its JQ7 services experiencing delays or cancellations since August. On Monday, Jetstar’s weekly midday service to Singapore was cancelled. Last week, the same service was delayed by six hours and so was the carrier’s 10.40am JQ8401 service. On September 22 and September 21 the JQ7 was delayed by 10 and 11 hours respectively.
