VFK appears broken in Sydney (or scheduled engineering, but doubtful)
I think enough warning was given on here a few months ago, and the public was well informed, about the dangers flying JQi this peak season. They applied the band aids but they could come off at any moment!
B788 VH-VKA is on JQ11 MEL-OOL-NRT with the 0745 hours Friday 16 December initial sector airborne at 1107 for OOL arrival at 1154 hours, 184 minutes late. It then was in the sky at 1412 so projected arrival in Japan is 2138 hours, 188 late. JQ12 back overnight is likely to be at least two hours late.
VKB is on delayed flight JQ18d, the HKT-MEL airborne at 1111 hours this morning. It's two and a half to three hours away from landing, so that may be about 2245. Normally this flight arrives at 1005 hours so it's more than 720 minutes late.
VKC is out of service.
VKD is on the hours late MEL-DPS noted above.
VKE is operating JQ15 from CNS up to KIX, with likely arrival 37 minutes late at 1932 hours.
VKF today arrived SYD at 1319 hours, 124 minutes late as JQ62 overnight from SGN.
VKG is on the MEL-HKT JQ17, suggested arrival being 2057, 47 late.
VKH on JQ3 is the only one so far within cooee of arriving on time but even it's to be an expected 19 minutes late into HNL at 0619 hours.
VKI is within the 15 minute defintion of 'on time' in its suggested 2107 hours arrival (seven minutes tardy) as JQ37 from SYD up to DPS.
JQ63 from MEL to SGN is the task for VKJ with mooted arrival 126 minutes late at 2311 hours local time tonight.
VKK is on JQ44 from DPS down to MEL. It should arrive at about 2210, 55 behind.
VKL is on the infamous newbie JQ47, the 1200 'high noon' SYD-ICN that is never punctual. Today it should arrive at around 2146 hours, 91 late.
I don't patronise this airline but do its international flights ever concurrently operate punctually for the majority of its B788 fleet?
