Jetstar no longer selling Max bundle in Economy

It would seems the QFF service centre is not aware - they are telling me my max bundle booked in January which i flew last week is ineligible. Groan. Its like pulling teeth dealing with the call centre. Anything in writing in t&c’s that sats these pre june bundles still earn flex eco SC’s?

Oh I hope mine posts automatically without any issues
Me & Mrs TY24 both received our points and SC's at flexible economy rates for both sectors. 100SC's and around 9000 points each for 2x 3.5 hour flights. Pretty good.

With Jetstar recently changing their fare bundles and inclusions, I have noticed that they are no longer the cheaper option to get QFFP. Also I have observed that some of the fares Jetstar fares attracting QFFP are cheaper through the Qantas website.

Has anyone booked Business Max fare after the June 4 changes to the bundles and flown already?

I've been trying to find out whether Business Max fares now earn Qantas points & status credits at the Discount Business or the Business rate, and haven't yet been able to get a straight answer from Jetstar. Based on what I've found so far, I think these fares will still earn at the higher "Business" rate, despite the Qantas points earn on the Jetstar website being listed at the "Discount Business" rate. Can anyone confirm?

@AFF Editor the article and this thread is plain wrong.

There is still a Max bundle in economy - it’s just only sold on the QF website. Points earn at Flex Y.

The JQ website confirms this listing the max bundle with a caveat it’s no longer sold by JQ directly.

On 11 September 2024, Jetstar made a further minor change to add more carry-on baggage allowance to the Flex bundle. This was accompanied by a small increase in the cost of this bundle.

I was wondering yesterday why the cost of the Flex bundle from MEL-OOL went up from $42 to $61. I thought there must have been a glitch.

The devaluations never seem to end do they. A 50% increase in exchange for a benefit that I will never use.

Or have QF IT not updated JQ fares?
Booked that flight and got the old JQ max bundle earnings?

But until you fly the flight cannot be 100% certain.

I mean it is still true Jetstar doesn't sell it anymore and the biggest advantage of it being able to earn QF SC at extremely good value (often times at DSC level ) previously along with the other benefits.

The value was always that it was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper on JQ than QF.

There's a note in the airline earnings categories about this. Follow the #
(Having said that, I'm sure it wasn't originally there)

There was a screenshot earlier that didn't have this so this is definitely a newer addition.
