Jetstar points posting ... shesh!

Obviously a short lived improvement, or all the good work has been undone with the new "improved" way if purchasing JQ flights that earn points. Still waiting for my 3K points to post from over a week ago.

How do I put in a missing points claim for 3K? The form on qf.com has a Jetstar JQ option for airline but no 3K, and it explicitly states the airline code has to match, giving a QF/BA codeshare example.

Its not a big deal for me, however I am counting on the 3K sc's posting for Mrs and Jnr Sequel quickly so they qualify for PS prior to the last leg of our trip being coast to coast in J.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, as the tangible benefits of PS when flying J is minimal at best.

Still waiting for my JQ35 (Syd/Mel) points and SCs from the F Lounge run in Aug to post. Did sent a missing points request to QF 3 days after the SCs and points did not post but nothing for 4 weeks now. I'm starting to wonder if I'm being punished for using the JQ35 flight to access the Syd F Lounge and guest a few non WP people in?

Lol yup you are going to FF hell ;)

My JQ points have been posting next day without fail for a couple of months now :)

Flew Mel - Sin - Mel late August. Business Max, Mel - Sin credited following day but still waiting on Sin - Mel, flight was only 3 days later - very inconsistent!

My wife and I flew JQ back in late June. I got my points/SC within a couple of days but hers did not show. Lodged a missing points claim back in mid-July and still nothing.

So it appears QF's consistant inconsistancy strikes again!

I've not had any issues with JQ of late.

Even my bonus 1000 points JQ had when they the promo a while back..

Well the points for the original 3K flight on 8 Sept are still missing, however the points for the return last week showed up before I had landed!

If there's one thing you can count on, it is the inconsistency!

Any clues on how to claim for 3K?

Sorry to bring back a 12 month old thread but there is still a big delay problem with Jetstar points posting.

Family flew to Honolulu in late June 2012 and points posted 3 days after flight. Return flight was on 6 July 2012 and we are all still waiting for points and more importantly Status credits. So coming up on 3 months with no result. Lodged an online missing points claim in late July but still nothing.

The process is terrible and puts you off flighing Business class with Jetstar bigtime.

In Apr Syd-HNL posted almost immediately, return was posted a month later (after I put in a claim at the 2 week mark).

Maybe I will have to scan the BP to QF as someone mentioned 3K isnt on the list for claiming missing Pts online (AA isnt either??? Why?)

Recently I still had to fax a copy of my dad's e-tickets and BP for 2 flights on 3K from 2012 to the QF Frequent Flyer Service Centre to claim missing points. The points and SC have just been credited. And I noticed 3K (and VF) is now listed in the online Qantas missing points claim form when I went online to check the posting... FINALLY!

15 days since my last JQi flight, points not posted. Seems purchasing without logging in with username/email doesn't make a difference to points posting sadly....

And as AIRwin said, JQ and 3K are now on the drop down list....no more direct QFF CS emails to get the points request rolling for those 2 now.

I haven't read the complete thread (TL;DR) but I've just been through the Jetstar non-posting experience and managed to come out the other end clutching my hard earned points and, more importantly, SCs

I had 14 domestic flights between November and the middle of February not post through to Qantas but the subsequents started to - something happened in February with the Jetstar systems (in a good way).

The trick to getting the points/Sc is
(a) List all your flights (dates, booking no's flight no's, names etc) and send them through to Jetstar via the contact us, general enquiry web form. Tick the "want a reply" box.
(b) Expect a call from Jetstar - I got calls within about a week - they'll try to contact you three times over the course of a couple of days before giving up - look for a Melbourne caller id.
(c) The lovely Filipino call centre staff will tell you that they're resending your itineraries within the next 24 hours. And they do. Mostly. Might take a couple of goes.
(d) Take the resent itineraries and email them to qantas ([email protected]) with a request for credit.
Bingo! 24 hours later points/sc arrive
Rinse. Repeat cycle.

Still no points after a month, (JQ1 MEL-HNL in star class) after 2 weeks sent in a missing points request. Why the hell is it so damn hard.

I assume it was a Max bundle?
