Jetstar Starclass

I paid $300 ODU each way SYD-KUL-SYD in March. Both times received J class SC's. Also asked last month on my JQ flight to HNL from SYD and was told also $300 but no *Class seats were available (flight full).

I've never tried upgrading on board and wouldn't want to miss out on J SC's. The $200 ODU fee for SYD-KIX sounds pretty good considering it's $300 to KUL???

That is odd. Possibly less demand on SYD-KIX than KUL?
Coming home tomorrow KIX-BNE... will let you know what happens. Should be ¥20000 again I hope.

[edit] Yes, Y20000 for the upgrade KIX-BNE. "Akusa Lounge" isn't too bad, a bit light on the food. Otherwise, why complain...

Hello All

Mum and I flew Jetstar to and from Hawaii in May. We paid US$250 each to upgrade for the Honolulu - Sydney flight (back when the dollar was over 90c).

We had provided our Qantas Club numbers but the flights didn't get credited status points. After speaking to Qantas the attitude was basically if your boarding pass doesn't say 'Star Class' across the top you won't get it. Although we flew Star Class the boarding pass was a regular one mmm.

Can't complain really considering how super cheap our return flights were to begin with...

Hi karens and welcome to AFF.

This one seems to be one of those sometimes you get it (a bonus) and sometimes you don't, (a pity) but as you say the overall cost is relatively light so not so much of a big deal.

Shortly it moves to OOL, interestingly *Class is not being sold on the OOL-SYD leg as a bookable trip!

You are able to book it over the phone or on webjet. But for some reason they still haven't fixed up that part of the website?

Oh well, might be fixed up soon enough!
