I think popularity plays a big role.

I haven't made too many friends with many of my posts. Not a great worry as I put myself in that situation. Lindsay is a much liked person and is respected by more AFF'ers and FT'ers in general.

Last I checked there were 4 different australian mainland times operating at the moment. Seemed simplest to stick with what I know best - the kiwi time.
