Last I checked there were 4 different australian mainland times operating at the moment. Seemed simplest to stick with what I know best - the kiwi time.
What do you think NM?

You made your prediction thinking that Kiwi Flyer's prediction was AEDST as I had posted times of all who had made a prediction and you have clearly been misled. Under rule 14 paragraph 2 you are entitled to change your prediction.

What about rule 1 paragraph 3 subclause c? Doesnt that take precedence in this case?

Judging by JohnK's posting spree over the last hour, I now think he'll make the magic 1000 tomorrow. Therefore, my guess was waaaay off.

In that case I had better adjust by the appropriate time factor, and end up with 2:12am tomorrow!

But tomorrow never arrives so are you forfeiting?
Yes, it arrives 3 hours earlier for you than for me. So for 3 hours when its my today it is your tomorrow. So tomorrow has arrived for you, but not for me. As it is still today for me, it has arrived for me and hence tomorrow for you.

And I have been restraining myself.

Blame Kiwi Flyer trying to get me to pad my posting count.

Not sure he can accept all the blame  .

Maybe so, but from my perspective tomorrow is another day, or in your case another two days (and 20 years?). So tomorrow cannot have arrived for you either. On the next day the same logic applies, ergo tomorrow never arrives.

I find that hard to believe - and even harder to imagine. Must be a contortionist - perhaps that what he meant by finest moment?

Is that a metic tomorrow?

Well, for his own wellbeing and for the comfort of those around him, lets hope he does not need to restrain himself any longer - could be both painful and embarrassing for all concerned.

Funny you should bring that up. I think the answer is no for me and yes for you. Perhaps the conversion factors mucked up your guess and the illogicality of your second guess?

At least I know it was not the alcohol. Not beer O'clock here yet - unless you are at a Qantas Club of course and I am not.

I didnt know beer affected time. I thought it just altered the perception of time (or lack thereof).

As far as AFF threads go this thread has definately gone off the rails.

Huh? We were discussing the validity of NM's first and second guesses.

Only 18 posts to go and here are the predictions to date. Hope I haven't left anyone out, wouldn't want you to miss out on the non existent prize but a very honourable mention. Predictions are closed. Dates and times are AEDST. Tomorrow is not a valid prediction as it never happens.

Excellent - you followed my logic.

Reminds me of the pub with a sign out the front. Free beer tomorrow.
