do I still qualify for the bonus points if I rejoin?

The person i spoke to said yes, but i would suggest you hearing it yourself just in case ;)

Gotta pay the full $840 tho..

Hey fellas, I'm WP , but I'm chasing FF points, do you reckon I ought to join the QP to get an extra 40k points. Will I get the credits even though I'm already WP?

Nope, they won't let you join. There's better value points out there anyway.

As discussed earlier, you cannot join if you are already a member, which a WP is!

Tell me the better ways! I can get my pop and mum to join n transfer points, eighty grand's wortth in five minutes

Sign on bonuses for credit cards tend to be better value. $900 for 80K points with the Amex Plat card (plus all the extra stuff you get like free Priority Pass, free travel insurance, free return flight per year).

Have a scout around the credit card sub forums and you'll see there are quite a few decent offers to be had.

I'm pretty sure the onepath insurance offer is still open (if you are up for a potential challenge). 10K points per policy (max 2 per person) for as little as $25 per policy if you choose the lowest cover amounts.

its a pretty cheap way to get 40,000 points. certainly cheaper than the 20,000 point max top up points.

Being SG, would QP membership be put on ice until such a time that I drop below SG? and at what point (2-3 years) could you get refunded for unused membership?

Just wanted to check something, I am currently PS but should be on track to hit SG by April, if I obtained this deal would the QP membership go on hold until you pertinently go back down to PS or would you just forfeit the remaining of the QC membership?

It goes on hold, I have 6 months from 1997 still holding!

Great if you don't hit LG and go back to PS you'll be set for 6 months :D

Thanks I had two different Answers from Qantas but definitely credit seems correct and fair, I had better grab the deal then seems worthwhile.

Not so great when you do hit LTG which is me in a month or three!

The 40000 points for joining QP were credited to my account yesterday.

And mine x 3, plus with the voucher credits and January fertilizer spending looks like we'll be off to London first class next year.
Thanks AFF
