JQ Price Beat Guarantee

I've had all sorts of experiences. The other week I was price beating a Tiger fare for $109. The agent then came back with a price beat figure of $79~. Not quite sure how but not complaining here.

On another occasion I was price beating a flight on a third party site but it must have defaulted in US dollars on the agents screen resulting in the AU148 fare coming up as $101 and I got the fare for $90.

Recently...or ever. I booked a Jetstar flight a few days ago, so have a $25 hotel voucher if you want

Thanks, I have sent you a private msg!

Ever works too, it's so annoying that you have to book first and then submit a claim for price beat second, which could very well be rejected

Well, with Tigerair and now Rex no longer flying on mainline routes, the domestic price beat guarantee is basically only good if VA happens to be cheaper than Jetstar but you prefer Jetstar for some reason over flying Virgin. Can't imagine that would happen too often.

On the international front, though, there are some seriously competitive fares from the likes of Vietjet Air, or Scoot or AirAsia. Has anyone price matched one of those super cheap Vietjet flights from MEL or SYD to SGN?
