There is a Lounge - it will be open - and the First Class side has 'champs' (at least for the LAN flights).

Thanks to fog at Wagga delaying my departure, my 1 hour terminal-change-and-scurry-to-gate is now a 4.5 hour J lounge loiter. There from approx 12.30 (or whenever QF2222 arrives to SYD) until approx 1630 (or whenever Perth flight decides to depart, whichever later). Thats today 4th July (happy Independence Day?!) at SYD DOM J - 1 guest spot available.

I've taken this exact flight before - the BA J lounge has some comfy sofas, but no wi-fi. The trick is to look for the network with 'Alitalia' in the name. After fishing around, I was able to get up to 24hrs of access for only 0,25€! Great speed too - and yes, they take Amex haha! Also note that BA hasn't paid FCO for priority security for J/OWE pax, so you'll have to go through the standard queue (unless this has changed)... there are still priority check-in counters though!

Thanks, I have flown to or from FCO at least 20 times in the past few years, it's a pretty terrible airport!
