Just booked! (Long Haul Business for Honeymoon)

I've just booked my first ever PAID for international J flights - PER to LHR via SIN return on QF.

PER - SIN on the A332
SIN-LHR on the A388

It's for our honeymoon -- and the J tickets are a surprise for my fiancé!

Given you're all fans of flying I could think of no better group to share the excitement for one of the most expensive purchases I've ever made Will be epic though

Just be sure to get all possible FF benefits - SCs, points for both of you, and utilise the lounges.

If you haven't selected seats yet, I recommend rows 11-13 on the A380. The front part of the J cabin is much less of a barn than the rear section.

Ouch indeed. I have been in that position and buying for two is expensive, could have bought a Toyota Yaris 'whitegood' instead

Next time, if you're not interested in points/sc's etc look at the US threads where there are some J/F bargains to be had.

congrats on the wedding! That is how I started flying to Oz in J as well Haven't stopped since, it gets addicting and your future SWMBO might not want to turn right anymore

Congratulations - both on impending nuptials and paying for J I hope this is the start to a very long and happy life together (Mr FM and I have been married for nearly 31!) and also in years to come to many more premium flights (they are very addictive).

As a SFSC who does at least one DONEx a year (and did an AONEx in the last year of the 20-sector xONEx's), would you like to share the routing?

Wasn't easy with points, but we are basically going where we want to go: SYD-LHR-CDG-JFK-BGI-LAS-LAX-SYD

Looks pretty good. I can imagine trying to do it on points, especially for two, would present challenges. I'll stick with paying and using the full 16 sectors to ensure WP requalify SCs and amass points for upgrades and xASA's .

Avoid, the trap for young players! Great flights need to backed up with even better accommodation...no matter how long your flight is - you'll spend more time in the honeymoon suite:mrgreen: Enjoy!

There is always the milehighclub challenge . It's been done before in QF F :mrgreen: - regrettably not by me - yet, he says hopefully .

Yes! It used to be 333's but has changed to 332.
