Congratulations! Does that mean a lifetime supply of silver bag tags and lounge passes? :)

Congrats on making LTS!

What happens when you get there? I'm currently SG and sitting on 6340 SC's and with my current bookings will reach LTS in Feb next year. What sort of FF card do you get??

cheers, W

In my case I was already SG so I just got a letter advising and saying if I dropped levels I'd be life time silver so no new card.

Be interested to know what the LTS card looks like, I'm assuming no end date.

Congratulations! Sadly I think you're right about it not meaning a whole lot these days, but it's still better than nothing :)

I made LTS in August last year, and coincidentally hit 10,000 lifetime SC's this morning! Another couple of years and I should make LTG at my current rate, which will be nice.

3K SC in 15 months! That 1K every 5 months, so that's mid 2013 at that rate.

We hope to see you in London even if we don't have a Golden Ticket to the Olympics.
Life time Silver......very nice!

congrats from me as well. It takes a long time. Will be at about 80% at the end of my current membership year but it looks like the flying is going to calm down a lot after this year so will have to see when I get there.

LTS is actually quite useful, if you fly with some other airlines. e.g. on CX, you would be entitled to check-in using J counters, have your bagged tagged as priority (although somewhat meaningless), and free exit-row and bulkhead seats. And on eligible booking classes, you get the same SCs as you would flying on QF. It's funny how, at the PS level, I'm actually flying QF less than when I was at NB.

Priority luggage is not a perk of QF-Silver on other oneworld airines.

You receive a welcoming letter and Silver status for life if you are not already Silver status or higher.

I seriously thought about framing my letter but then reality set in and....

Yep, nothing special. A welcome letter and this change to my QFF account is all I've seen:

I'm about 200 credits away from LTG so should have that in the next couple of months but I was wondering if there is anything beyond that (not that I would want to have to do another 14000 points of work travel!!) Is there a LTWP?

AFAIK it exists, but it is for people that do a lot of QF SC flying and its done through corporate memberships?

Congratulations. I also just to LTS myself with a JASA from SIN to BNE. I presume in the event that you ever drop back from a higher status to your minimum Silver, that you will only need 700 SC to requalify for SG again, regardless of what length of time you sit at PS.

Bump!
For those of you not in the super awesome AFF Facebook group , as posted there I've now reached LTS :)
I joined QFF in 1999, didn't fly a huge amount until 2008 and went from NB to WP soon thereafter. Thanks to finding this site I think I might make LTG a fair bit quicker ;)
