Meh - as someone said here:Cutting toe nails in the lounge, now is that bad, or is that BAD?
I would say, it takes all sorts to make the world go round, or to make "understanding" of what it takes to be able to get entry to the QFd lounge, anything is acceptable, so long as its not topless or nude.

In the good old days, these were known as “Kiwi Samsonites” at the airport.A mate used to work on construction sites in NZ, where they were referred to as "Samoan safety boots".
On your virtual keyboard!Where's the puke emoji when you need it?
I've always called them refugee bags...In the good old days, these were known as “Kiwi Samsonites” at the airport.
I think life's moved on since then.It lowers the tone, as do visible tattoos.
The problem at the moment is that society's standards are in freefall - and unfortunately the bottom isn't in sight!Society's standards are rapidly reaching rock bottom not just in dress sense.
Yes I think so. Tattoos were once a sign of rebellion and noncomformance, an expression of individuality. In some age groups it seems now more a sign of conformance.I think life's moved on since then.
A bit humid and sweaty for the American type! The Australian or American type
Yeh, Gen Z men have intellectualised beer, emasculated facial hair and have made tattoos ironic.Yes I think so. Tattoos were once a sign of rebellion and noncomformance, an expression of individuality. In some age groups it seems now more a sign of conformance.

I an pretty sure I heard similar comments in the 00s. And the 90s. And the 80s. And I bet similar comments were made in the 70s and 60s with those disgraceful hippies. And the 50s with the advent of rock n’ roll. And in the 1920s with the jazz era … shocking.
Society changes. All the time.
Really. I just spent a few weeks in Europe and even in Switzerland you could smoke on train platforms. France Italy and Switzerland lots of smokersCurious...where in Europe? Smoking is really not part of the course in most countries with in door smoking banned and upheld with riquor in most. Outside cafe smoking areas do exist...as they do in Australia and if they are puffing away "en masse" then I can only assume it's outside? I recall many a day in the Munich beer halls and beer festival when you can hardly see in front of you due to the smoke. Now, ofcourse it's banned!
Actually the problem is, that the bottom is in sight.and unfortunately the bottom isn't in sight!
I have a small nail clipper that can do toes and haven't had a problem getting it through either DOM or INT security.its only in the US where you can bring toenail cutters past airport security eh?
