As shown by the paucity of entries, KE (like OZ) continues to be punctual almost always when AFFers look it up ex or to Oz. However on Tuesday 3 September 2019, KE122 (A333 HL8025), the 0745 hours SYD - ICN pushed back at 0805 but did not become airborne until 0846, so expected arrival is 1815, half an hour late.

On Monday 13 January, KE122, the 0900 hours morning SYD - ICN (A380 HL7628) took off at 1031 (about an hour late) with arrival suggested as 1953, 123 minutes late, the increased deficit probably due to having to take an indirect flight path due to Taal Volcano (about 80km south of Metro Manila, Philippines) spewing ash early this morning. Hence airlines are avoiding overflying Manila and tending to be to its west.

KE may have recently resumed flying between ICN and SYD.

It is normally punctual, but on Wednesday 6 July 2022, A333 HL8026 arrived in SYD as KE121 at 0628 hours (18 minutes late) but did not then take off on the 0745 hours to ICN (KE122) until 1257 hours. Suggested arrival is 2222 hours, 277 minutes late.

Korean Air is a recent returnee to Sydney's skies.

It continues to be unusual for it to run late, but on Sunday 31 July 2022, KE121 (1840 hours ICN down to SYD) did not take off until 2159 hours. A333 HL8027 should arrive on Monday 1 August at 0915 hours, 185 minutes late.

KE122 returning to Seoul is predicted to push back in Sydney at 1045 hours, 180 minutes late.

Yes, indeed, since FLA90, de-ice and anti-ice (separate) procedures have moved from discretionary to SOP's. The Koreans perform these requirements in a highly efficient manner.
