Agreed for this iteration and the last iteration but whenever I hear the piano rendition of I Still Call Australia Home, it emits some sort of nationalistic pride.Honestly to actual very frequent flyers you kind of drown out the boarding music as it just becomes white noise and part of the routine.
Its more for your irregular flyers or first time flyers for the airline imho as part of the experience.
Think its proven to make people board faster. Southwest plays music from the boarding gate.It may just be me, but I'd prefer to board without music, if I need it I can put my earphones in.
