Interesting find today! 👀👀

30 second teaser of the new Qantas boarding and disembarkation music is available on Spotify (not sure how to link it but it's searchable). Wonder when it will go live?

The only real difference I'm hearing in those previews is that the disembarkation music includes clapping. 🤷‍♂️

Can't say it's doing much for me on first impressions. Also, something tells me that this wasn't the most important thing that Qantas needed to address...

I really didn’t like the old one, and this one doesn’t wow me either.

The piano instrumental of “I Still Call Australia Home” was really good. That’s what it needs to be like, background music. These other ones are too dramatic, and when you hear them every flight for 5 years they get old very quickly.

Honestly to actual very frequent flyers you kind of drown out the boarding music as it just becomes white noise and part of the routine.

Its more for your irregular flyers or first time flyers for the airline imho as part of the experience.

Agreed for this iteration and the last iteration but whenever I hear the piano rendition of I Still Call Australia Home, it emits some sort of nationalistic pride.

Must say that the now old one was much better than this. Seems like a cheap remix in certain parts. I Still Australia Home is obviously the best of the best.
