Im KF Gold, got a domestic SYD-MEL, I'm travelling with wife and a 9 year old. I know I'm entitled to a guest for VA lounge access in SYD but what's the kids rule?

Domestically have got in with 4 people on the single membership (member, an adult guest and 2 children). This has been every time we have tried (around 20 times to date). Sometimes let known that we are not entitled to it. But have always been let in to date. Obviously doesn’t mean you will every time. But definitely worth asking.
