Only one stopover on a S* award is S**** and those are not the type of stars you would want in an alliance. Going to Boston and not stopping in Bangkok or Munich is crazy because I need my side trips

Maybe Turkish airways has miles, that way I can jump all the way from Melbourne to Europe. I refuse to use Qatar airways for political reasons. Maybe United or collect to 50k Air Canada miles from the HSBC S* card to see what that can do for me.....or start looking at those airlines with programs that frequently service Colombia/Brazil/Argentina.
