On the 1st sector MH602 now perched in the lofty 1A.

Followed on by MH715 and MH852 tomorrow

I am sitting in the MEL F lounge with boarding in 20 minutes or so.

I have officially commenced the lounge crawl weekend ... and with a domestic transit at KUL later this evening I will finally be able to tick off the KUL MH domestic lounge. (Not counting a quick peek in the door last year).

Agenda:

When I get to KUL on Sunday I will head to the MH F lounge in the satellite terminal, followed by the J lounge and then CX lounge. As the flights to SIN are likely to leave from the regional terminal I will head there last.

As I am on the first 'main lounge crawl' flight into SIN I will head to the BA lounge which from memory opens at 3pm. The second wave are welcome to head there an hour later where I can hopefully manage a look around the Concorde Room. The P1s can then escort us to our special table in the QF lounge.

We can finish things off in the EK and sundry PP lounges. I would like to visit the site of the new QF F lounge in our travels, too.

Will you be joining us at Jalan Alor on Saturday night?

I've checked in for my flight to SIN on Sunday, looking full in J. Only one spare seat.

Im Getting into KUL at 10:30pm now, doesn't look like a possibility.

The seat next to mine on MH623 is blocked. I am in 1A.

Using the quote of a very honourable AFFer ;), “Photos or it didn’t happen!”:D

So for dinner Saturday night we've discussed going to Jalan Alor.

Can I suggest we meet at Hotel Imperial at 1900 hours.20190607_164218.jpg

Across the road is the bright yellow Hotel View.

The SIN-JHB crossing last night took around 3 hours. That was in a private car. A nightmare. Why the governments do this... :(
I don't know. My experience with Malaysian immigration in general is poor. Staff sitting around doing nothing or going on breaks with multiple queues 40-60 deep.

My trip from BNE is about to begin and feeling guilty leaving the family behind.

One flight down, three more to go to get to KUL. Hopefully I have gotten all the flight dramas out of the way for this trip.

.....The P1s can then escort us to our special table in the QF lounge.
Don’t get your hopes up on a special table, P1 hype vrs reality.....!

......and feeling guilty leaving the family behind.
I thought that but not any more. I have already had to buy a checked size bag to deal with the shopping list.

I’m flying JHB-KUL today. Hopefully no queues. :)

One day there might be AUS-JHB flights? It is Malaysia’s second (or third) biggest population district, after all...
