Have booked QF36 for 09 June and gotten my seat in Emerald city. My preferred seat was automatically selected for me.:)

That's what points and status are for.

Now to plan a convoluted routing to board my flight home.

<checks seat in Emerald City already selected ... still sticking ... relaxes ...>

So I've booked myself in 1A on MH623 and 1A on MH610 that departs around the same time as QF36 on the 9th.

.........I'm sure if we get a final list a week or so prior you can name all the WP1's who will be in SIN at the same time and would like a large space together.

I had the rare occasion to call SST the other day and while I was on the phone I asked if something like this could be arranged. As you suggested the advice was to call a week before with the names of the P1s and the total PAX numbers. Advised they would put through a request to the SIN lounge team to reserve space. There was the caveat 'it would be up to the lounge staff and there were no guarantees', at least we can give it a shot.

Jessica, not too sure what you think of a US lounge crawl? Since AA has invested in upgrading their flagship lounges. Now I'm based in LA & comparing LAX AA Admirals Lounge to QF J it's pretty much neck to neck. Then possibly to SC run to DFW, ORD, MIA, JFK to see the other flagship lounges & possibly other Amex Centurion lounges.

Cheers

I try to keep them in SE Asia so it is not much of a trip to do the return in a weekend. When we went as far as NRT I think there were only six crawlers compared to the usual dozen or so.

You are welcome to propose one for LAX. I might be able to manage that in a weekend!

I’d love to do LAX crawl but flight is too long to do in Y and finding multiple award seats for specific dates in J or F will be a challenge.

Not too sure how much of a discount QF will give if traveling in a group of 10 or more.

Dreaming of a trans-US lounge crawl LAX (including Champagne breakfast, QF F lounge; opens at 6:30am; before moving to T4) - MIA (late Champagne lunch in AC 'F' dining area) - JFK (Champagne dinner in AC 'F' dining area).

Presumably by the time the stagger of AFFers reaches JFK, word would have got round for them to stock up some extra Champagne.

Surely that's just his first farewell tour?

Usually seems to be the case with these artists, doesn't it? Ties in with Mrs Flashback's birthday though so tickets to the show (and then a trip to Greece) already locked in!
