All sorted - 9 Jun MH619 and QF36.

@Aeolus my MH flight is booked through QF but on a MH flight no. rather than a QF codeshare so we will see what happens. If they do not let me in as a OWE I may have to be a guest of another WP on the same flight.
They’ll definitely let you in. The codeshare I was referring to is via Deathstar o_O

There are usually enough WPs around to help with guesting if you don't make it.

Thanks! If I decide to go, I'm thinking of flying into KUL from HKG and add another lounge crawl to my trip...

And at least one WP1 to deal with the QF champagne or lack of it issue in the QF lounge ;):D

I’m thinking the current DSC promotion makes this look very attractive. I’ll still be WP1 so should be able to help with the “champagne issue”. :p

Might come up against RSA ( If such exists in SIN) after, say, the 20th glass requested !

I did not have go back and order the champagne @JessicaTam just told the staff "we are with him" and it was sorted.

We can spread the load.

As numbers firm up and closer to crawl I may send a request to the SIN QF lounge via SST and request a reserved area. Have not done this before however QF seems too be on a bit of a WP1 re-invigoration campaign at the moment.

Happy to carry my weight also.;)

I'm sure if we get a final list a week or so prior you can name all the WP1's who will be in SIN at the same time and would like a large space together.

@JessicaTam , I'm sure this has been decided before - whats the collective term for AFF lounge crawlers?

If not, suggestions:

A thirst of lounge crawlers;
A sponge of lounge crawlers;
An entitlement of...
A DYKWIA of ...
A plague of ...
A late boarding of ...

Maybe we should have a poll?

It usually ends up being a stagger of lounge crawlers! :D

I have booked 1 flight so far, QF36 back home... ideally I'd like to fly to KUL and then onward and shall look out for deals in the future.
Easy - fly return to SIN, with a nested MH J flight. BKK is nice that time of year! And 120 QF SC, or 160 BA TP* for your effort. Specials pop up every month or so.

*Yes, I am starting to speak that language.

Have been looking at something to do near KUL for a day or so. Not necessarily in Malaysia; say within two hours flying, or even ground transport.

Penang looks nice - any other suggestions?

I forgot about BKK, shall have a look before the end of tonight!
