Sorry Pushka, I did not read all the reviews.

So, AFF has "gatherings" "wine tours" "lounge crawls" "in n outs" "dinners" etc etc.
Have they ever had a "shopping day"??? (I was going to say Ladies shopping day, but did not want to be sexist. My boss, for one, can shop me under the dress rack)

ooops didn't mean to sound like a know all BB - jes' trying to be helpful for you. :p

Thanks Pushka and Bindibuys for getting my Bag ! I await you reviews of the bag. Our next big trip is March, so I have a few weeks up my sleeve to get one too ;) I was also thinking of getting the Mocha Cheetah !

Now as to the Shopping Day ..... I do have a Black Belt in Shopping and a Honours Degree in Outlets so just let me know :D

God no, my exact thoughts were "she really did do her homework, and I just skimmed the first 2 reviews" but I did watch just about every youtube video on Baggallini there is.

The RFID products are getting more and more popular.
I just use a blocking sleeve over my credit cards.

There are youtubes for baggalini? Oh wait, of course there are. I wonder if there's also an app?

I will hone in again for Hawaii and Alaska. Although I hear Wall Mart just closed down in Juneau. ;). :D

I like the black cheetah also. But I am grey this year.

I too like Pacsafe Vetrade and they have served me well.

A few years ago I was more active on a forum for Kindles. One year they released a new version and in the ads (US) the kindle was sitting in this cute little bag. Well, the ladies on the forum said 'bugger the kindle (my OZ translation) - what is that bag and where can we get one?' Someone did their research and worked out it was a Fossil bag.

Thousands of posts later and I swear that forum thread would have bumped Fossil into a profit surge that year.

I don't profess competence in women's tastes but MrsV has a pacsafe shoulder bag which is her fave all-rounder when we travel. She has a black one which looks better than you might think from the photos and it holds plenty while still being light - and it has stood up particularly well to use.

What I like about the pacsafe product is the little scissor clips so you can seal the zippers and you can loop/clip the handle around things like a chair frame if sitting at a curb side café etc.

I just wish more bags in general would have a side, easy to get to water bottle space/holder, like nappy bags have.

And I too have thought the same about nappy bags too Denali.

Joining in on this as I love shopping and have done quite a few study tours of this around the US and Hawaii !! ..off again in March to LA....I use the Hegdren cross body bag and its been great, I can load my mini ipad, make up, purses etc..sorry don't have a link at the moment...love all these shopping ideas and links so thank you all and if you do decide to have a "shopping tour" let me know

mrsdoc just uses a longchamps handbag with short-ish handles that sits on top of the rollaboard and you can also get a long handle one.

This sort: longchamp bags - Polyvore

You can buy them everywhere (at one stage LHR was the cheapest - i'd always pick up a new one on the way out of UK!). Australia is not the cheapest place but the price has risen everywhere so it's now competitive (so i'm told!). Advantage that relatively weather-proof, wipe clean etc so good for travel and not horrendously expensive (in context of o/s travel) but robust etc. Good all-rounder.

I cant believe i'm commenting on a handbag thread!

A lovely thread thank you OP. Shopping AND bags!!!

Back to the Baggalinis: I bought this in Canada last year Everywhere Bagg - Designer Crossbody Handbags| baggallini. We were on a cruise and it really suited me for day tours as I could squash in heaps of stuff and two water bottles at each end.

Its light, water resistant, reasonably dirt resistant & has lots of pockets everywhere but doesn't look "overpocketted". So I reckon the
Transport Carryall - Designer Travel Totes | baggallini would be great with the rear sleeve for suitcase handles....[h=1][/h]

This may come form left field but my wife hasn't retired her mimco nappy bag just yet. Its been doubling as a travel purse for sometime now and its pretty massive. pockets for everything. maybe worth a look..

My daughter-in-law had an Oroton nappy bag ( beige material with big brown Os on it ) and she still uses it as a large handbag. Nappy bags certainly are great to recycle as a travel bag.

Baggalini has arrived. The box was large and I had a moment of panic. But it is much smaller. Will post some pix tomorrow. It has a bright pink liner which I like and it also has an attached clutch purse. Two drink container pockets, and the zip flap on the outside if you want to secure to the luggage handle. I would like a few more internal pockets. I might need to think about whether this can replace a normal handbag and if I can see that then this is a winner.
