I didn't realise there was a Crumpler store in Perth (and I live here!) Shows you how often I get into the city. I'll have to check it out - I've been dealing with some health issues for the past year but it looks like I'll be able to start travelling again soon. So I *obviously* need new accessories (although the nurses have all been commenting on my purple Lipault Plume carry on case I've been using for hospital).
Thanks for the heads up! :)

I was in Melbourne over Easter and found the Crumpler store was very conveniently located for the DT Melbourne. I bought a Dry Red No. 2, a boarding bag and a Dry Red No. 13, a toiletries bag. I am very pleased with both of them so far and plan to give them both a good workout next month.

I didn't realise that there is a Crumpler store in Perth so a visit there will be on the itinerary before we leave.

The store is in Wesley Arcade. I felt a bit of a fool when I told the shop assistant in Melbourne that I was so pleased to have found a Crumpler store there as I came from Perth.

I have also dealt with some health issues over the last 3 years but have fitted in a bit of travel between episodes. I have been permanently banned from travelling to America but Asia and Europe have got the thumbs up.

I wish you a speedy return to travel, Lizzi.

Ahh I don't often go into Wesley Arcade — that would explain it. I usually use my Lipault tote, but I think I'm in love with the Crumpler umbrella. Good thing it's out of stock on the website!

Glad you've been able to fit some travel into your schedule! I've been doing the breast cancer thing, so not many opportunities for travel during treatment. But touch wood, I've just had the last surgery, so I'm busily planning for later in the year :)

Best of luck for your episodes being continually fewer and far between :)

Just as we get to the stage where obligations allow us to travel then our damn health gets in the way. I'm still not looking at bags.... but I did buy a 'jeep' hard shell suitcase a couple of months ago that I have now tested and love! I've never used the half pack style (half in top/half in bottom) but found I really like it!

I have the Tumi hard shell, (when my daughter has not "borrowed" it.) and I like how I can keep half closed off. My Tumi carry-on is just the right size for my Eagle Creek pack-it, which holds all my clothes. (sorry not a rolling clothes person).

I am still searching for the perfect carry on bag. I was in like withmy current one. https://www.loandsons.com/the-omg
I only realised the other day that I could extend the shoulder strap and wear it as a crossbody. Fell in love! Again. My favoruite feature is the shoe pocket.

On a funny note, reading this thread lead me to Crumpler. That lead me ladybug umbrella's? Its unclear the route, but i
am sure you ladies would understand

Totally understand. Now I want a ladybug umbrella too ;)

I lied I have the OG not the OMG. It's the larger of the 2 bags. I've never had a problem with carrying in on board. I have it in Grey with Blue interior.

It should be noted they frequently have sales and can be 30-40% cheaper.

I tried to take some photos but bag was just not cooperating. I love this bag so much I've given it to a few friends as a gift.

I am sure I'll regret this later, but if anyone needs assistance........

Happy to show mine in person to anyone if around Brisbane.

But they don't ship to Australia !!!! :-|

That bag looks perfect, I too wish they would ship to Australia. Do you know of anything similar over here?

Daughter going to NY for Christmas/NY, think I just found my present......

OMG and the OG 30% off this weekend.
If anyone needs shipping, I have a friend in IL that collects all my parcels and on posts them to me, I then paypal her what she had to pay for the freight.

I love that OG bag. There are heaps of US forwarders...or maybe we could all email them about shipping to Australia at the same time...

For my carry on bag I use a Longchamp pliage. Black. It is pretty indestructible and I use it as a handbag while travelling. It fits oodles of stuff in it and I often also pop my normal handbag in it plus all the other stuff I use on the plane and then class it as a handbag.

I have also used it as a weekender instead of taking a carry on suitcase.

Bit the bullet and purchased the OMG bag with the lavender interior yesterday. (30% off sale) Thanks for the tip about extending the shoulder strap.

I'm getting the OG for Xmas. Our main supplier is in the USA and they always ask me what I want for Xmas. This year they gave me a $400 limit and lo and sons were having a sale again. So I'm getting an OG and a Pearl crossbody. Can't wait!

My OMG has arrived, trying it out as my everyday bag just at the moment.
2 things come to mind - the top opening is not very wide, and if you use the "shoe" compartment, you to loose a fair amount of space inside the main compartment. But my Ipad Pro 12.5 fits beautifully, will see how my laptop goes later today.
