Life Time Gold - The [Realistic] Holy Grail

It shall be complete on a modest ADL-BNE economy flight next week :)

Just got the points upgrade for the flight on Tuesday - so still get economy points that will take me to LTG on QF664 on 5 July - but will be snugly travelling in a befitting 1A :)

I made it - LTG for me! But I was wrong - my +1 insisted in having the window, so I suffered in 1C :(

The staff on the flight were really nice - helped me with some bubbly to celebrate - thank you ladies!! :)

No celebs for MrP when he made it. Mind you, he wouldn't have told them. I'm the AFF nut in the family. And I told him he'd made LTG.

I told them, but for a change they actually understood what it meant :)

I had to tell them too. But the crew (on QFi) didn't know what it meant. As far as the crew was concerned, my WP status was what mattered.

It's pretty obvious that there's no indication of LTG on the iPads. And even if there was, at the moment at least, most crew don't know what LTG means eg in terms of how much flying it takes to achieve it.

Finally made it to LTG this evening. Somewhat fitting it was on a return trip from MEL - given I have done 159 of them (based on my Flight Tracker). I must say thanks to the collective wisdom on the forum, particularly for pointing me in the direction of MASAs (particularly when combined with a double status credit status run).

I suspect I may need it next year as my work travel has somewhat dried up of late - unless I manage a complimentary retention of WP..... (I don't necessarily want to enjoy the LTG benefits just yet).

Well done Aus ATC I'm somewhat jealous. I'm only (ha) 1,570 away :(

Well done!

Good luck with it - I have managed a little over 1.2K QFF SC per year the last few years - and I begrudge the overs ... 31K LTSC and counting (in "CentaDozen" annual chunks).

Well done Aus ATC, like others I am closing in on that mark as well, slogging it out one domestic Y sector at a time :)

Well after a visit to CGK last weekend I have finally hit LTG..

Although I joined QFF in 1995, a lot of QF flying didn't start til 2005

I was silver from 2006-2009
Gold from 2009-2010
Platinum 2010-present.

Looking at my stats it took nearly 500 QF flights to do.

Congrats to juddles, Aus ATC and nlagalle. It most certainly is a lot of flying to achieve the milestone, welcome to the club.
