Little Miss TomCat has landed!

The Little Miss is now 2 weeks old and weighing in at 2.79kg. She’s doing very well, though we could do without the night owl behaviour from around 9pm till 1am. We’re hoping to move to feeding on demand once we’ve seen the nurse this week, rather than the current strict schedule.

So how are the parents?

A full nights sleep yet? Still looking at her with awe, love and sheer joy and wondering what the future holds?

Long may it last.

Impossible with three hourly feeds unfortunately. The sleep that is. Lucky she's cute and totally worth it.

Once she's a good weight, feeding on demand will be easier though friend's daughter has twins and she found that she just had to have a strict schedule or she couldn't cope. Think it is easier with just one baby.:)
I imagine having two babies on their own schedules would be a form of torture.

Pity she decided to be wide awake during the photo session I organised.
Sneaky little thing. You do know the saying “Never try working with animals” also applies to kidlets! Whatever you want them to do, they will do the opposite.

The upside is a heap of photos of her facial expressions, she’s quite expressive. I was hoping for some of those naked sleeping baby photos you see, but she was not at all interested in cooperating.

I think Anne Geddes must drug ‘em.:p
